(Ted) Salter to fill a growing need for the best reliable and trustworthy security advice.  Ted Salter offers five decades of experience in public law enforcement and the private security sector.

Ted Salter served with the two large Ontario Police Services for 18 years which included Uniform, Intelligence Bureau, Detective Office, Marine Unit and as a Helicopter Pilot. He also became a licensed fixed wing aircraft pilot and certified locksmith.

Pursuing opportunities in the private sector, Ted left policing for a security management position with a large international Transportation & and Logistics company. Several years later he moved on to work with a major developer in the Real Estate Industry and became a specialist in Shopping
Centre, Condominium and Commercial Property security.

After several years Ted went on to creating his own security consulting practice, providing Threat Risk Assessments, Emergency Management Plans, Training and Seminars.

In 1995 Ted joined a well known and respected Toronto area Security Guard Company where he served for 23 years holding the position of Vice President, Corporate Services. During his tenure in this position, Ted created the Consulting & Client Support Department. Other duties included development and operation of the Human Resources Department, Uniform Stores, Training Department and Field Operations for three branch offices including Northern Ontario.

In early 2018 Ted retired from his employment and created E.B. Salter & Associates Security Consulting Inc., a highly professional security consulting practice.

Ted has close to five decades of combined law enforcement and private security senior management experience and is a member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and Airborne Public Safety Association. He is a founding
member of the ASIS Toronto Chapter.
