Whether you require a system to be designed from scratch or have an existing system that needs updating our consultants can assist you. A Security Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) is an excellent starting point to guide you in developing the proper specifications for your Video Surveillance & Access Control Systems. You will know the threats and recommended range of countermeasures and be able to make informed decisions on the locations and usage of your video surveillance and access control systems.
Our services include the design work and development of a “System Definition”. Our team will locate positions for all CCTV cameras and/or Access Control points. We will do a presentation for you showing selected locations and rationale for all equipment. The System Definition will provide specifications on all the equipment necessary to complete your project and an approximate budget + or – 15%.
Once the System Definition meets your approval we can proceed with developing a tender package for your project. We will assist you to prequalify vendors and prepare the bidders list. The entire tender process will be managed by our consultants. This includes an onsite bidder’s meeting and scoring the submitted tender responses for you. Results of scoring will be presented to you so that you will be able to make an informed choice on selecting the winning bidder.
Following tender award, we will project manage the installation on your behalf. The installation schedule will follow the requirements of the tender and agreement made with the winning bidder. The vendor payment schedule will also be as per the tender.
After the installation is complete, we will schedule a full system commissioning test performed by the vendor in the presence of our consultant(s) to ensure that all equipment has been installed correctly and is operating as per tender specifications. We will further ensure that the vendor has completed all necessary training for your management staff and security guards on operating the system and that “as built” drawings and manuals have been provided to you. Final payment to the vendor is normally held back until all these steps have been completed.
